Short Term Accommodation (STA)

NDIS Short Term Accommodation including respite supports for participants and carers across western Melbourne.

NDIS personal care and daily living support at home

About this service

Short Term Accommodation (STA), including respite, provides temporary supported accommodation when a participant needs a short stay away from their usual home. STA can support carers, cover periods when usual supports are unavailable, or provide a change of environment with appropriate support.

Able Aide delivers STA with person-centred care that maintains routines, respects preferences, and ensures continuity with existing support plans.

How Short Term Accommodation (STA) supports you

Give family and informal carers planned relief knowing the participant is supported in a safe environment.

  • Continuity of supports

  • Flexible durations

STA from single nights to multi-week stays depending on your plan funding and needs.
