NDIS Family & Early Support in Melbourne & Victoria

Early support is not just about therapy — it’s about everyday life feeling calmer, more predictable and more connected for your child and family.

Able Aide delivers NDIS Family & Early Support across Melbourne and selected regional Victorian areas. Supports are aligned to your child’s NDIS goals and tailored to your family’s routines and preferences.

We provide gentle, family-centred NDIS supports that fit into real routines: mornings, mealtimes, play, school, community and faith life. We work alongside you, not instead of you.

  • Support for children & young people
  • Family-centred, culturally aware approach
  • Routines, participation & confidence-building

We can work in partnership with your therapists, educators and Support Coordinator so everyone is on the same page. If your family also has Support Coordination, we align communication to keep supports consistent.

Family-centred practice

We see you as partners in support, not just “recipients” of services.

Culturally responsive

We respect culture, language, faith and how your family does things.

Gentle, consistent workers

We focus on predictable, calm support for children and young people.

What family & early support can include

Supports are tailored to your child, your family and your routines. We aim to make everyday life just a little bit easier and more enjoyable.

Daily routines

Support around mornings, after school, evenings and weekends — aligned to therapy recommendations where appropriate.

Participation at home

Supporting your child to participate in play, chores, family activities and building independence step by step.

Community & social activities

Attending activities, programs, playgroups, extracurriculars, park visits and community events with gentle support.

School & early learning support

Supporting transitions to kinder, school or after-school programs (within scope and with your consent).

Emotional regulation & calm support

Practising strategies from your therapy team to support regulation, transitions and anxiety, where appropriate.

Supporting parents & carers

Listening, sharing practical ideas, and working with you to make supports sustainable in everyday life.

How we work with children & families

We know families are busy, tired and doing their best. Our role is to add support, not pressure.

  1. 1. We listen to your story

We start by listening — to you, your child (in whatever way they communicate) and what life really looks like at home and in the community.

  2. 2. We build support around your routines

Support is planned around real routines: meals, bath time, homework, prayer, outings — not just ideal schedules on paper.

  3. 3. We adjust as things change

Children grow, needs change. We stay flexible and responsive, checking in with you regularly.
